Working to expand access to proven programs that have long-term benefits of reducing crime and improving Washington's workforce

Business, law enforcement, and retired military leaders make a strong case for effective investments in children and youth. Our members in Washington have stood up for expanded access to high-quality early learning programs like state pre-K, home visiting, and afterschool programs that have proven long-term benefits such as reducing crime and building a highly-skilled workforce, as well as addressing barriers that prevent young adults from serving in the military. This advocacy resulted in increased investments in each of these areas spanning numerous legislative sessions.
