Tennessee Law Enforcement Leaders Meet with First Lady Crissy Haslam

Tennessee First Lady Crissy Haslam met with Jackson Police Chief Gill Kendrick and Pastor Ted Denny from the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office to discuss their support for voluntary pre-k for at-risk kids.

Chief Kendrick and Pastor Denny told the First Lady that law enforcement leaders and others in the community support early childhood education because it helps set children on the right path in their education and also helps them avoid getting in trouble later in life.
