Oregon Fight Crime: Invest In Kids members met with new Co-Speaker of the Oregon House Bruce Hanna (R) to discuss our issue areas. Speaker Hanna met with (left to right) Oregon State Director Martha Brooks, Polk County District Attorney Stan Butterfield, Yamhill County Sheriff Jack Crabtree, Hanna, and Cornelius Pass Chief of Police Paul Rubenstein and talked about the benefits of early childhood education, Head Start, Early Head Start, Oregon’s home visiting programs specifically Healthy Start, and Employment Related Day Care.
