New York State law enforcement leaders work with comptroller to save taxpayer dollars through crime prevention

Members of Fight Crime: Invest in Kids New York met with State Comptroller Thomas DiNapoli in Manhattan to discuss research on programs that work to prevent crime and yield significant savings to taxpayers, such as effective interventions for troubled youth. Participating in the meeting were State Association of Chiefs of Police President Chief William Kilfoil, Board Member Janice Grieshaber of Syracuse, Fight Crime: Invest in Kids State Director Meredith Wiley and New York State Sheriffs' Association President Sheriff Gary Maha.
