Des Moines Police Chief Judy Bradshaw, Chief Deputy Bill McCarthy of the Polk County Sheriff's Office and Polk County Attorney John Sarcone met with U.S. Sen. Tom Harkin today, asking him to lead efforts for increased funding for Head Start, Early Head Start and quality childcare.
