Preschool Cuts Future Crime, Saves Money in Education Costs



On March 9th, 2011 law enforcement visited Springfield to call on the General Assembly to prioritize proven crime prevention strategies in the state’s budgets. A group of sheriffs, police chiefs and state’s attorneys met with legislative leaders and held a press conference to release a report showing preschool cuts crime and can save the state millions in K-12 education costs.
