Grand Junction, Pueblo Chiefs meet with US Representative John Salazar in Washington to discuss the need for early education.

Grand Junction Chief of Police Bill Gardner and Pueblo Chief Jim Billings met with U.S. Representative John Salazar in his Washington, DC office today to talk about the need for early childhood education.

The Chiefs talked with the Representative about long-term research studies that prove that early childhood care and education programs considerably decrease the chance that at-risk children will end up turning to a life of crime.
