Fight Crime Invest in Kids Pennsylvania America must cut the pipeline that funnels young people into lives of crime and violence. We take a hard-nosed look at research on what keeps kids from becoming criminals and put that information in the hands of policy-makers and the public.

PENNSYLVANIA POLICY

Established in 2001, Fight Crime: Invest in Kids Pennsylvania is a statewide, bipartisan, nonprofit, anti-crime organization of more than 200 police chiefs, sheriffs, district attorneys, other law enforcement leaders and violence survivors.

As leaders on the front-line in the fight against crime, our mission is to help policymakers and the public understand and act on the knowledge that among our most powerful weapons against crime and violence are programs shown to keep kids from becoming criminals. Research and experience show that strategic targeted public investments in quality pre-kindergarten and early education programs, child abuse and neglect prevention, after-school programs, and programs that help troubled kids get back on track give kids a good start in life and help prevent them from engaging in later crime and violence.
